Delivery
How long does it take to receive my medication?
As soon as we receive your prescription from your doctors, we will dispense it immediately. If you live in Islington, London and its surrounding villages, your medications will be delivered the next day by our local delivery driver. We will strive to deliver urgent medications like antibiotics, on the same day.
For other parts of the country, your medications will be delivered by Royal Mail 48-hour service to your preferred UK address. Most of the medicines will be delivered in a letterbox-friendly package. Please contact us if you require medication (e.g. antibiotics) urgently.
Do I need to be at home for my delivery?
We do not want you to cancel any appointments simply because you are expecting a delivery from us.
In most cases, our local delivery driver can deliver your medications to a safe place, a neighbour, your carer or your workplace. Simply contact us and let us know where you want your medication delivered.
For Royal Mail deliveries, we aim to package your medications in letterbox-friendly parcels. Sometimes, we may need to use bigger parcels depending on the size of your medication. If your parcel will not fit through a letterbox, Royal Mail will let you know how to arrange a redelivery or a collection if you miss a delivery.
Please note that if you are expecting a controlled drug, it will need to be signed for by someone collecting the medication.
How much does the delivery service cost?
Please check with Lemonpill the cost of prescription delivery. You may also be eligible for free prescription delivery.
Is this service available outside England?
We receive prescriptions electronically from GP surgeries using the NHS England electronic prescription service. As a result, this service is not available in Scotland, Wales, Northern Island, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
Returns
Prescription-Only-Medicines
If you have been provided with the wrong prescription-only medicines or upon receipt of delivery, the packaging is damaged or could have been tampered with, please let us know immediately and do not use them. We shall advise you concerning the appropriate disposal and re-ordering. If you have paid for your POMs, you will be refunded any amounts due if the prescription-only medicines are wrong, damaged or faulty. You are not otherwise entitled to cancel an order for a prescription-only medicine and receive a refund if you simply change your mind.
We are sure you may have more questions to ask. For all other questions, please contact us.
